Another top manager Antonio Conte has been linked to the manager’s job at Chelsea.
According to the Daily Mail, the blues who have been linked to a number of coaches want to make Conte their permanent manager at the end of this season.
The English Daily said Conte will hold talks with the Blues after the Euro 2016.
The former Juventus coach has won three Series ‘A’ titles. Apart from Conte, other coaches who have been linked to the Blues include Spurs manager Mauricio Pochettino and Pep Guardiola.
In other transfer news, Manchester United have joined the race to sign PSG defender Marquinhos.
The Brazillian is keen on moving away from the Ligue 1 side due to limited playing time and is open to a January move. Other than United, Barcelona have also indicated interest in signing the player.
And Alexandre Pato is expected to sign for Chelsea before Monday’s transfer deadline after he arrived in England on Thursday.
Pato is expected to join the Blues on a six month loan deal from Brazillian side Corinthians. When that happens, he will become the first signing for Chelsea coach Guus Hiddink.
