BPL week 32 preview: Leicester City VS Southampton

Leicester City return to the pitch on Sunday against Southampton hoping to keep alive their dreams of  a historic English Premier League title.
The Foxes who sit on top of the log with 66 points have been very consistent this season having lost only three matches so far.

Going into Sunday’s match, history does not favor Leicester City in their previous meetings with the Saints.
The Foxes have won only once in their last eight league meetings against Southampton. The last meetings between the two sides at St.Mary’s ended in a 2-2 tie.

For victory, Leicester City will look up to Jamie Vardy who remains one of the team’s top scorers.
The Saints have also struggled to pick good results at the Kings Power Stadium where they have won only once and it was a convincing 4-0 victory in 2004.

The Saints will have to deal with the fact that their opponents have vastly improved since the season started and remain motivated at the prospect of clinching their first ever league title.
Southampton have midfielder Victor Wanyama back in the team in a move that should stabilize their midfield. The Kenyan who also played against Liverpool two weeks ago had been on a five match suspension.

Third placed Arsenal will be hoping to close the gap with Leicester City when they host Watford on Saturday.
The Gunners who still have an outside chance to win the league have nothing else remaining to play for after being eliminated in the Champions League and FA Cups and should therefore put all their energy in trying to win the league.

Second placed Tottenham Hotspurs face a tough test against Liverpool on Saturday and victory will push them to within  two points of the leaders.
