Inter Milan are set to take on FC Barcelona in a Group F match at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza on Tuesday.
The former Italian champions thrashed Czech champions Slavia Prague 3-1 in their previous Group F game which was played in the Czech Republic on November 27.
The win left Inter placed second on the group standings having accumulated seven points from five matches.
Milan Skriniar, the Inter defender, is wary of Barcelona following their 0-0 draw with AS Roma in an Italian Serie A game on Friday.
“We’ll get some rest this evening. From tomorrow, we’ll start to prepare for Tuesday’s game with the desire to win and give 100%,” Skriniar said.
“They always play to pick up three points and won’t give an inch, we need to do exactly the same.”
Meanwhile, Barcelona defeated German giants Borussia Dortmund 3-1 at home in their previous which was played in Spain on November 27.
The victory left the Spanish champions sitting at the top of the group standings having collected 11 points from five matches.
The last competitive meeting between Inter and Barcelona was on the 2nd of October 2019.
Barcelona secured a hard-fought 2-1 victory over Inter in a match which was played at Camp Nou.
