Wolves-VS-Chelsea

Wolves tackle inconsistent Chelsea

Wolverhampton Wanderers will square off with Chelsea in an English Premier League match at the Molineux Stadium on Saturday.

Wolves were beaten 3-2 by Everton away in their previous league game which was played on Sunday, September 1.

The defeat extended Wolverhampton’s winless run to five matches in the league having recorded three draws and two defeats.

However, they remain undefeated in their last 10 home league matches having drawn 1-1 with Burnley in their previous game at the Molineux Stadium.

Wolves will be targeting their first victory of the season when they face an inconsistent Chelsea side.

Meanwhile, Chelsea was held to a 2-2 draw by Sheffield United at home in their previous league game which was played on Saturday, August 31.

The draw extended the Blues’ unbeaten run to three matches in the league having registered two draws and one victory.

They have won only one of their last five away league matches having defeated Norwich City 3-2 in their previous game on the road.

The Blues will be hoping to secure their second successive win on the road when they take on a stubborn Wolverhampton side.

The last league meeting between Wolverhampton and Chelsea was on the 10 of March 2019.

The match ended in a 1-1 stalemate at the Stamford Bridge Stadium.
