Chelsea-VS-Crystal-Palace

Chelsea host Palace in London Derby

Chelsea will square off with Crystal Palace in an English Premier League match at the Stamford Bridge on Saturday.

The Blues secured a 2-1 win over Watford away in their previous league game which was played on Saturday, November 2.

They win extended Chelsea’s winning run to five matches in the league having defeated Brighton and Hove Albion, Southampton, Newcastle United, Burnley and Watford.

They also are unbeaten in their last two league games at home having registered two successive victories.

Chelsea manager Frank Lampard is pleased with his charges’ work rate as the Blues look to record their sixth consecutive win in the Premier League.

“The players are working hard. The way we’re working off the ball,” Lampard said.

“We have to put in a lot of leg work and I’ve got players who are putting in the work. They’re training the way they want to play.”

Meanwhile, Palace was beaten 2-0 by Leicester City at home in their previous league game which was played on Sunday, November 3.

The defeat extended the Eagles’ winless run to three matches in the league having registered one draw and two defeats.

However, they are undefeated in their last two away league matches having defeated West Ham United and drawn with Arsenal.

Palace will be looking to extend their unbeaten run on the road when they lock horns with an in-form Chelsea side. The last league meeting between Chelsea and Palace was on the 30th of December 2018.

The Blues beat the Eagles 1-0 in a match which was played at the Selhurst Park.
