Ajax CT relegated from PSL

Ajax CT in shock relegation found guilty on Ndoro charge

Ajax Cape Town has been dramatically relegated from the Absa Premiership after it was found that they had been fielding an ineligible player. The Premier Soccer League (PSL) has found Ajax CT guilty of fielding Tendai Ndoro.

Part of the punishment is an R350,000 and Ajax CT will forfeit their last three matches. These were the matches against Platinum Stars, Polokwane City and Supersport United. This means a seven-point deduction from their final score which sends them to the bottom of the table and leaves Platinum Stars with the chance to play in another PSL season.

Ndoro was also found guilty and has been given a two-match suspension.
