Champions League who will join Man City and Real Madrid

Atletica-madrid-vs-barcelona

Barcelona carries a poor domestic form into Wednesday’s second leg of their Champions League quarter-final match against fellow Spaniards Atletico Madrid.

Barcelona won the first leg 2-1 but have been unimpressive at home picking just one point out of a possible nine in the La Liga.

Worrying for Barcelona is the fact that their main goal scorer Lionel Messi is struggling to score goals and this does not make things better for them.

The Argentine has not scored for more than 300 minutes which remains his worst run since 2001.

With Messi struggling to score goals, Barcelona will be hoping that Luis Suarez and Neymar are able to stand in.

The Catalan side expects to welcome back central defender Gerard Piqué from injury.

Atletico knocked out Barcelona at the same stage in 2014 and will be hoping this can inspire them on Wednesday night. The home side will also be lacking suspended Fernando Torres who scored in the first leg.

Benfica VS Bayern Munich

In Portugal, Benfica will be trying to overturn a 1-0 goal deficit as they host German champions Bayern Munich also on Wednesday.

Benfica has been dealt a blow as their key striker Jonas is unavailable for this match due to a suspension. Jonas has scored more than 30 goals for them this season.
