In November 2017 FIFA and adidas unveiled the Telstar 18 the official 2018 World Cup ball. The ball pays tribute to the very first adidas World Cup ball from 1970 and homage to legends like Pele, Gerd Muller, Giacinto Facchetti, Pedro Rocha and Bobby Moore.
