EURO: Crunch time for Portugal

Portugal takes on Hungary desperately seeking to make it to the last 16. The Portuguese even with highly rated Real Madrid striker Christiano Ronaldo have been a big flop and are yet to win even a single match after being held by Iceland and Austria.

Ronaldo has been under pressure to deliver and he seems to have crumbled under the pressure after missing a penalty and failing to convert from the numerous free kicks he has been allowed to take.

Portugal must beat against Hungary to stand any chance of qualifying.

Hungary has four points in the group and a loss will still see them qualify to the next stage.

Portugal will look back to the fact that they have won all five of its competitive matches against Hungary and could do it again on Wednesday.

Iceland and Austria will fight it out for a place in the knock-out stage when they clash on Wednesday.

Iceland has been quite impressive in their last two matches as they boast of a great backline. They are second in the group and need just a draw to sail through.

For Austria, this is a chance for them to end the group matches on a high. They have been disappointing after coming into this competition as one of the favourite teams to do well on the basis of their qualification campaign.

Already qualified Italy play Ireland also on Wednesday hoping to maintain a 100 percent record while Sweden and Belgium end Wednesday’s fixtures.
