The 31 year old striker was released by Tottenham Hotspurs in September making him available as a free agent. Apart from Spurts, Adebayor has also played for Manchester City and Arsenal in England scoring 94 goals in the process.
His move to Crystal Palace comes hardly two weeks after Coach Alan Pardew has expressed interest of bringing the Togolese on board. By signing him Pardew will be hoping to turn around the team’s low scoring. The team has scored just 24 goals in 23 matches and remain the third joint lowest scorers in the league.
Worse, the Eagles have not won in the last six matches instead lost four times in a row.
