Burnley out to stun in-form Chelsea

Burnley-VS-Chelsea

Burnley will take on Chelsea in an English Premier League match at the Turf Moor Stadium on Saturday.

The Clarets were defeated 2-1 by Leicester City away in their previous league encounter on Saturday, October 26.

The defeat ended Burnley’s four-match unbeaten run in the league having registered two wins and two draws.

However, they are undefeated in their last two league matches at home having recorded wins over Norwich City and Everton.

Meanwhile, Chelsea secured a 1-0 win over Newcastle United in their previous game on Saturday, October 26.

This was the Blues’ third successive victory in the league having recorded wins over Brighton and Hove Albion, Southampton and Newcastle.

They are also undefeated in their last three away league matches having registered three consecutive victories.

Chelsea defender Kurt Zouma feels the team is hitting form at the right time ahead of their clash with Burnley.

“Since the beginning of the season we were playing very well,” Zouma said.

“But at the beginning, we were not lucky and now the luck is coming for us, and we are also working very hard.

“The team is very talented and once we know each other, we play. We put 100 per cent in every time and we are very difficult to beat.”

The last meeting between Burnley and Chelsea in a league game was on the 22nd of April 2019.

The two teams drew 2-2 at the Stamford Bridge Stadium.
