Week 25 review – Leicester look unstoppable

After stunning Manchester City 3-1 on Saturday only a miracle will deny the foxes an opportunity to win the title or at least get closer and it will not be by fluke.

Under Claudio Ranieri and with virtually unknown players, Leicester City have done the unimaginable and are staring at history.

Vardy has been instrumental in Leicester success this season.

Saturday’s win has pushed Leicester to 53 points on the log. With this they have built a healthy gap with their opponents for the title and as the league goes to the home stretch, the foxes seem to have it nearly wrapped up.

For City the defeat hit their title chances as they were expected to win this one and go top of the standings.

Tottenham Hotspurs stayed on course with the leaders thanks to a 1-0 win over Watford.

Spurs moved up to second spot on the log with 48 points the same as third placed Arsenal who hit Bournemouth 2-0 with goals from Mesut Ozil and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.

Manchester United failed to pick all three points after being held to a 1-1 tie by Chelsea. Diego Costa equalised in injury time after Wayne Rooney had put the Red Devils ahead.
