Premier League week 33 preview

Sunderland VS Leicester

The Foxes are favourites to win the title this season and with it go into the history books and so every match is important for them. Leicester sit at the top of the log on 69 points seven more than second placed Tottenham Hotspurs.

Despite their good run of results, Leicester cannot afford to underrate Sunderland who are keen to survive relegation and could spoil the party for them.

Should Leicester win on Sunday, they will be closer to achieving their dream of winning their first ever Premier League title. A win against Sunderland will leave them needing to triumph in five matches to be assured of the title.

For victory, the Foxes will be hoping that Jamie Vardy is back to his scoring form. It has been a while since he scored and this should be great motivation to do just that.

West Ham VS Arsenal

Third placed Arsenal will be out to keep up with Leicester City as they play away to West Ham on Saturday at Upton Park.

The Hammers have had an impressive campaign this time around and remain just two points off the top four. They therefore remain highly motivated to play in Europe next season something that will push them against the Gunners.

This coupled with the fact that they will be playing at home and that they beat Arsenal 2-0 in the first leg makes it even easier for the Hammers.

The Gunners go into this match looking to make it three straight wins in a row after victories over Watford and Everton in the last two weeks. Furthermore, Coach Arsene Wenger has had relative success at Upton Park in the last.

Spurs VS Man United

The highlight of the weekend matches is Sunday’s top of the bill clash between Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspurs.

United go into this match keen to keep alive their top four ambitions and inspired by the fact that they have always picked positive results at White Hart Lane.

Spurs on the other hand cannot afford to lose this one knowing that this is the closest they have ever come in more than two decades to winning the EPL.
