Man City travel to Carrow Road to face a struggling Norwich City side. Norwich who sit 18th in the league with 29 points, have lost nine of their last 10 games in all competitions and haven’t managed a clean sheet in any of them. City on the other hand are looking to push on in their title challenge with Manuel Pellegrini’s side only having won two of their last 6 league games. Star striker Aguero has scored five in five appearances against The Canaries and will no doubt be a major threat in front of goal for Alex Neil’s men. Few would bet against a City loss in this one.

Next on the list is Bournemouth against Swansea which should be an even contest. The teams sit just above the relegation places and are separated by two points and two places. Both teams come off good victories with Bournemouth having beaten Southampton 2-0 through goals from Cook and Afobe while Swansea beat Norwich 1 – 0 thanks to a Gylfi Sigurdsson strike. Perhaps a draw could be the outcome of this one with both sides evenly matched.

Stoke against Southampton is the last fixture of the day on Saturday and this again presents a very even match-up. Southampton will have to fill the void left by a suspended Jose Fonte in the heart of defense. Stoke on the other hand still have a few absentees with Ryan Shawcross, Charlie Adam, Glen Johnson and Phil Bardsley still unable to feature through injury although Adam and Shawcross are close to making a return. Both teams are looking to get into Europe next term and will fancy themselves to win in this mid-table clash.

In Sunday’s only fixture, Tottenham face bottom of the table Aston Villa. The Villa have had a horrible season picking up just 16 points and leaking goals by the bucket load. Remi Garde came in to save the club after Tim Sherwood was sacked but all he seems to have done is accelerate their decline. His French signings have failed to impress and Villa are most certainly already a Championship team. In Spurs, they face a side recently humbled by Dortmund but in fine league form. Tottenham lie second on the table just 5 points off the pace and will have their full squad available for this fixture after fielding a weakened side against Borussia Dortmund. Mauricio Pochettino is clearly looking to win the league and Villa can expect Spurs to come out guns blazing on Sunday. Spurs heavy favorites to win this one.

Match day Monday sees Leicester take on the struggling Newcastle. Magpies boss, Steve McClaren is rumored to have held showdown talks with the board and it seems he is destined for the sack after having been brought in to steady the ship. McClaren’s men sit second bottom with just 24 points, a massive 36 points behind their opponents who they were in a relegation battle with just last year. Leicester’s charge to the title continued as they ground out a 1 nil victory over Watford in their last fixture to cement their place at the top of the table while Newcastle were thumped 3 – 1 by Eddie Howe’s Bournemouth. Leicester are odds on to win this fixture and keep their title rivals at bay in what should be an exciting end to the season. Can they keep the fairytale going?
