Despite a poor domestic season, City has done well in Europe. They are in the semi-finals of the Champions League for the first time ever in their history after edging out fellow money bags PSG. This surely is enough motivation for them as they take on Chelsea on Saturday.

City has the quality to stop Chelsea with goalkeeper Joe Hart who has been looking good between the posts. Yaya Toure is expected to be back to full fitness and Sergio Aguero is also looking good upfront.

It has been a big fall from grace for Chelsea. Despite being the Premier League defending champions the Blues are hoping that this season’s ends quickly. With nothing at stake, they will be playing simply for pride.

Manchester United VS Aston Villamanunited-vs-villa

Manchester United suffered a huge set-back to their top four ambitions after losing 3-0 to Tottenham Hotspurs last weekend but they can still recover if they beat relegation bound side Aston Villa on Saturday.

United are fifth on the log with 53 points four less than their noisy neighbours. A win for them on Saturday is likely to send the battle for the top four to the wire.

Villa is in big trouble if they lose this one as they are likely to confirm their relegation to the lower league.

Leaders Leicester City will move closer to their title ambitions should they stop West Ham on Sunday.

The Foxes have already made history by qualifying for next season’s Champions League as they are guaranteed of a top-four finish and another win on Sunday will push them towards lifting the league title for the first time ever.

Leicester should however not expect an easy match against a West Ham side that is keen to finish among the top four as well. They showed their potential with a 3-3 tie against Arsenal last weekend.

Arsenal VS Crystal Palace

The Gunners meanwhile still have an outside chance to revive their title ambitions and will be keen to dispatch Crystal Palace on Sunday.

Arsenal fans must be the most disappointed lot as the season winds up. At one time, the league title was theirs to lose but a series of blunders has almost knocked them out of the title chase.
