BPL: Can Spurs close in on Leicester

Spurs are second on the log with 65 points and after Leicester City drew 2-2 against West Ham, they will move to within five points of the leaders if they win at Stoke.

Looking at Spur’s form, there is nothing that will stop them from picking all three points on Monday.

Spurs are going into the match from an impressive 3-0 win over Manchester United and need no further motivation. Harry Kane who has so far scored 22 goals is expected to be in good shape to continue with his goal scoring as he chases the golden boot alongside Sergio Aguero and Jamie Vardy.

Spurs will also welcome back Clinton Njie who has recovered from a knee injury but will be without Nabil Bentaleb who is sidelined with a knee injury.

The two teams drew 2-2 last August with Stoke City coming from two goals down to pick a point.

Stoke lost 4-1 to Liverpool last weekend and will be keen to bounce back against Spurs.

It does not look good however for the Potters who have won just one of their last five Premier League matches.
